Today Google launched their Social Media Tool call "Buzz". For the last weeks the rumor that Google was going to enter the Social Media World started. It is not surprise that the Search Engine Giant is interested in the Social Media. As we know already, Google has been pioneer in different projects and it's interest of exploring different areas has never been a problem for them. I would actually say that Google entered a bit late. Social Media leaders are well established at the moment, but in this online market that is no guaranty at all.
Web analytics have getting more and more popular and this year will not be the exception. Analytics are not limited any more to just Web Browsers in PCs. Flurry, a mobile analysts company recently invested US$7 Million. It's software can be embedded for free on Smartphones (iPhone, Blackberry, Android) and let's developers track how many times their applications are launched, geo-information about the visitors, time spent on an application, etc.
Facebook replied to Google's last month launch (Google Social Search) announcing the upcoming Facebook Titan. This webmail product will extend the current functions of the Facebook Message System. Users will be able to use their accounts as an email service. Rumors of this new service include IMAP and POP support. With this the 400 million users will be able to communicate not just between them but with the rest of the world.
